Families and Substitute Decision Makers – Sept 3, 2020

We want to thank you for your ongoing commitment and support towards Park Manor Care. As we all work together to ensure the safety of residents and staff we recognize that there can be a lot of anxiety and concern regarding fear of COVID-19 entering our facility. With this in mind we want to ensure open communication with families and substitute decision makers regarding any concerns that may impact Park Manor Care.

On August 28, 2020 Management became aware of two staff members that had been exposed to an individual in the community that was COVID positive. Fortunately, the Park Manor Care staff members had not work at Park Manor at any time during their exposure to the COVID positive individual. The Park Manor Care staff were tested and received negative results. Upon learning of the exposure, the Park Manor Care Staff were immediately required to isolate for 14 days and will not return to work until they receive another negative COVID test.

We value all of our residents, families, support persons and employees and want to support one another during this ever changing season that we are in. Park Manor Care Management is committed to providing ongoing communication and support as we continue on this journey together.

Should you have further questions and concerns please feel free to contact Nicole Foster, Director of Resident Services, phone 204-222-3251 Ext.225.

Sincerely,

Abednigo M. Mandalupa Jr., MMBM/DHRM/CPA
