Update of the Outbreak at Park Manor Care

Attention: ALL FAMILIES AND SUBSTITUTE DECISION MAKERS

On November 4, 2020 we communicated with you that Park Manor Care had declared a COVID-19 outbreak. As noted, the outbreak status was declared due to one staff member that had tested positive for COVID-19.

On November 4, 2020 we communicated with you that Park Manor Care had declared a COVID-19 outbreak. As noted, the outbreak status was declared due to one staff member that had tested positive for COVID-19. We are pleased to report that no other staff and no residents have tested positive for COVID-19. With that said, as per Shared Health guidelines, Park Manor Care continues to be under the outbreak status until November 28, 2020.

Park Manor Care has been diligent in following all of the Shared Health guidelines in monitoring and testing residents and directing staff as advised. All of our residents on the affected unit are doing well. We praise God and thank all of you for your ongoing prayers and support.

Please be assured that the care of our residents’ health is our top priority. In order to keep residents and staff safe we continue to implement the following measures:

  1. All Staff are being screened as they enter the building for work.
  2. All staff are required to wear a mask and those who are in direct contact with residentscontinue to wear additional personal protective equipment to further prevent anypotential transmission between staff members and residents.
  3. Visitation restrictions remain in effect until further notice.
